Reaching Your Horizon (RYH) is an agency that continously strives to instill the concepts of empowerment, growth, and success in the lives of all who are served by Reaching Your Horizon.

The mission of RYH is to make a positive impact in the lives of those we interact with by rendering services to those in need. RYH strives diligently to elevate its participants beyond their social margins so as to broaden their skills and motivate them to participate fully in social mainstream.  Additionally, we strive to increase their overall abilities and emotional intelligence, including those critical social values that enhance personal development and expand their marketability.

What We Do

Reaching Your Horizon (RYH) was founded with the purpose of providing core services directly to persons- of all ages- who are residents of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia areas.  This agency is set-up to provide life skills training, gang prevention/mediation, educational & outreach learning services that are put in place to help foster care children, minorities with learning disabilities, and populations that are considered at-risk (homeless, ex-offenders, etc).

We believe in promoting and improving one’s social functioning in society.
