The role of an individual within the educational advocacy/educational support field is something which requires a strong foundation within the field of education and a strong sense of service to people and the community as a whole. 

In order to assist in bringing about change for appropriate interactions within society, we recognize the importance of working within institutional settings (i.e. universities, family support systems, churches, etc.) and within all levels of education.  For us to be an agent for social change, we must be willing to foster both a work and learning environment that is open and honest. Such a service is an example of positively impacting not only those we interact with, but society as well.

We view all participants as having strengths, not “deficits.”  We believe that every person has a variety of skills and that participants should learn to use those assets based skills they already possess in order to develop mastery in other skills.
